Events leading to the ban

I loaded the game for the first time today and was greeted with a ban message stating I have been banned for using a datacenter/VPN to play. I do not have access to a VPN in any capacity bar free browser services and am confused as to why I was banned, if it was an automated ban or if it was to do with a server I have frequented (Wizard’s Den Leviathan [US East 1]) being hosted in a country I do not live in, making it look like I am using a VPN to connect.

Reason the ban should be removed

I would like to play Space Station 14 please, and if I was banned for connecting to a US server, if at all possible I would like to continue playing on US servers as EU servers in my experience have far lower population counts.

Datacenter bans aren’t applied to specific accounts, they’re applied to IPs used by things like virtual private networks (VPNs). If you are using a VPN, disabling it should allow you to connect to Wizard’s Den servers. If you are not using a VPN or something similar, but still cannot connect, please do any of the following:

• Join our Discord server and ask for help in the #help channel, saying that you’re affected by a datacenter ban
• Send a message to Wizard’s Den Game Admins
