Val Grimbleton is a venerable and aged security officer under the employ of Nanotrasan.
Originally, she signed on in her youth for the pay and the benefits. After narrowly surviving a syndicate bombing, she found herself more involved in her work - eventually making her way all the way up to becoming the head of security.
Unfortunately, complications in surgery left her unable to feel pain, with several scars and burns across her body to this day.
In spite of her injuries and the nature of her work, she maintains a friendly attitude and takes time to socialize with the crew and train up new cadets.
