Events leading to the ban

The clown stole my steel and gave me a fake bomb, so I hit him with the rigged boxing gloves someone had given me earlier to push him down and take his stuff. Unfortunately, I accidentally critted him. Later in the round, I received an ahelp about the incident.

Reason the ban should be removed

OK, so the reason I got banned was because I lied twice and RDMed the clown. During that whole round, I was very tired and wasn’t paying attention to what was happening around me, which led to a bunch of miscommunications and mistakes :

• The first lie : I didn’t lie. When the admin asked about it, I just didn’t connect the dots and didn’t think further until he asked again; that’s when it clicked in my head.
• The second lie : The whole conversation was about the rigged gloves and how I told him “I didn’t know they were rigged” and “they only hurt a little.” At that time, I genuinely forgot if I took them off/changed them. Since when I first got them, I tested them and they didn’t hurt much, I, again, just didn’t think much of it. It was after checking the replay myself that I saw I just kept wearing the same ones, so I understand why that was seen as a lie and an admission. But again, I really didn’t mean to lie.
• The RDMing : Also, because I didn’t know/forgot at the time that I was wearing dangerous gloves (which I thought weren’t actually that dangerous), I just hit the clown as in wanting to push him down, not crit him. It was really, really not my intention to crit. I rewatched the replay, though, and I myself don’t understand how I didn’t see him gasp and bleed at the time, but I genuinely didn’t.

So basically, during that round, I was just very out of it, wasn’t paying attention at all to what was said to me in-game or in ahelp, and that led to a bunch of confusions from both sides. So, I appealed as an “I didn’t do what I was banned for” because I genuinely didn’t mean to, even though I do understand how that was received, and I’m sorry for that.

Playing on wizden has always been so much fun for me, especially on levi where I really grew attached to its community, so I truly hope I can play on it again soon ︎ With that, ty for your time, I appreciate you mwah

About the second lie, you claim to not known they were rigged? or that you knew they were rigged but forgot?

In ahelp I told the admin I didn’t know they were, and that’s what I genuinely believed while talking to him, because I thought I had taken them off/changed them somehow, until I saw the replay myself and I realised I just forgot to take the rigged gloves off and that they were still rigged. I don’t know if if I explained it well haha

I am gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you truly forgot about wearing rigged gloves.

I recommend that if you aren’t a antag, don’t join with one to open a surplus loot box. I also recommend thinking it through a little more when a admin makes you a question.
