Events leading to the ban

shot a skeleton once unprovoked, did not kill skeleton. was informed skeletons weren’t antags, apologised to skeleton.

40 hours game time previously i was warned for arresting people without warning. This warning is misleading. All 4 people that were searched WERE syndies. No arrests occurred, just very aggressive searching. i apologised to 2 of these people after the fact

6 hours gametime before that i was warned for implant searching someone. i was confused by metashield and sorted this with an admin.

mentioned also were searches on green, i searched a thief on green because he stole a pda.

Reason the ban should be removed

its nonsense. just completely.

ahelps to me were justifiable and neccesary i talked things out with admins, explained why i did what i did to antags.

Banning without warning, without asking me what happened, without watching a replay of what happened is just sloppy work, characteristic of an admin who’s only been with the team for 3 months.

While the admin in question should have messaged you with the ban reason, they did watch a replay of what happened at the time. Per your behavior as a security officer in that round (Leviathan 76188) and considering your recent appeal-only roleban from security, I consider this ban duration to be reasonable.

Noted in a discussion of the replay were the skeleton incident and several beatings, both discussed as over-escalation, and apparently random searches on green alert.

While the ban itself could have been handled better, it is my opinion that it is a fair ban in terms of duration (per above incidents and recent roleban), and I’m choosing to maintain it.
