The Lusty Argonian Maid. A story that is in every Elder Scrolls game ever. I think it’s a bit harsh considering I was just messing around and its in a AAA game. This is Space Station. This is the most mild milk toast thing a person could do on paper and I get Banned? Not even a warning? That seems rather silly and dumb. Next time around I’ll fax something else. Didn’t think The Lusty Argonian Maid was a perma offence. Its not like I was faxing Mein Kampf or Uncle Toms Cabin or 50 Shades of Grey.

Small Edit for clearification. I didn’t think The Lusty Argonian Maid was even a bannable offence. Like never in a Million years would I have thought it would have been bannable considering its origin.

not necessarily. Not anything anyone hasn’t seen when opening a book in school or in a public library. Those are a kin to the Kill Roy tag you can do with crayon in your server. Mild vandalisms of a juvenile nature. Sexual? no. Also boobs aren’t sexual. They can be presented in a sexual manner, but just breasts are not sexual in nature.

Thank you again for answering my questions. The speed, confidence, and lack of ambiguity you gave your answers with, along with how strongly you stuck to those answers even when given the opportunity to amend them, was impressive and not something I see often in an appeal. It not only helped expedite this appeal’s discussion but demonstrated that these must be truly held beliefs of yours, or at the very least that you’re so ashamed of whatever your truly held beliefs are that you wouldn’t even think about letting them see the light of day.

The admin team has decided to upgrade your ban to a voucher ban. At Wizard’s Den, we try to not unnecessarily exclude anyone from playing on our servers, but we do require that everyone follow the same set of rules. This means that unfortunately there are people who we cannot allow to play on our servers. This includes not just people who choose to not follow the rules, but also people who are unable to understand the rules or communicate with admins without an unreasonable amount of effort from the admin team. A common case of this is people who do not understand English, since very few of our game admins are able to communicate in any specific language other than English, but I want to assure you that no one is accusing you of not being able to communicate in English. As I said, your answers were quick and clear, so quick and clear that it seems as if it would only be possible if you had both a solid grasp of the English language and sincerely held beliefs, or if you had been rehearsing these answers your whole life to try to hide something you felt extremely shameful about from the rest of the world.

Having read all your messages in this appeal, our conversation on Discord, and especially the things you wrote that resulted in this ban, I feel the need to include a PSA directed at you: As you depart from the Wizard’s Den servers for at least the next 6 months, please keep in mind that just because you see something in a book, school, or public library, does not mean it is appropriate for all audiences, especially if you’re the one that put it there. You should get permission from any school or public library before baking or even kneading bread in or near them, and you should know that they’re unlikely to approve. If you try to display your spear in a public library or school then you will almost certainly be arrested, no matter the size of the spear. Remember, it’s not the size that matters it’s what you do with it, so even if you spear is very small, I strongly suspect you would still be arrested. Finally, remember that if you attempt to appeal without a voucher of good behavior from another well known SS13/SS14 server, or if you attempt to appeal before 6 months from now, your appeal will be rejected without consideration. Any attempts to evade a your ban will delay the earliest that you can appeal.

What a bizarre and draconian punishment. You’re making a game for unthinking ants instead of humans. You should stop bothering with this game and go remake Habbo Hotel if they’re gonna be that ridiculous about it. Are you willing to continue this authoritarian moderating? Who is going to be left when all minor offenses are met with this permabans. You? Your friends? What will happen when your friends also do silly stuff on your server? Do they also get these ridiculous bans and have to go through a long ban appeal? You guys say all the work done is volunteer work. So why volunteer if you aren’t going to take care of the immediate work that needs to be done like ban appeals? Even if every single other ban placed was inappropriate, it would not mean that yours was also inappropriate. I understand that it may be difficult for someone in your situation to focus on themselves and their own actions, particularly if deep down inside they feel their actions are indefensible. Perhaps, hypothetically and using your words, they would describe themselves as “degenerate” actions. If this is the case then I assure you focusing on unrelated bans is not going to help anything.

There are absolutely no attacks on you in my closing of this appeal. I’ve never called any of your beliefs crazed or said that I think you should be ashamed of them. Those are your descriptions of things that I presented as one of multiple possibilities.

I have no way of knowing with certainty if your insistence that nothing you’ve done could be described as sexual by anyone other than a “degenerate” is a truly held belief or if it’s the result of years of repression and self hate, just as I have no way of knowing if you seeing these possibilities as assertions that your beliefs are crazed and you should be ashamed is an innocent misunderstanding or some sort of Freudian slip. You have used it here and I would bet money that you have used it on other appeals without disclosing it. After all its never let you down before. You guys may have gotten your wires crossed somewhere in this mix. So let me clarify. Nowhere did I state showing your spear in public is something to do. But I did say finding graffiti in a book at school or in a library or in public that is either Boobs or a Penis is actually quite common. Finding books in a Library is actually very common. You could also say finding a book about baking bread and/or polishing a spear would also be easy to do. Lets not mention that you can find Smut there too. Oh and also medical text books. My last reply still stand. You guys suck at this and I hope that by me continuing to waste your time rises the view count on this. People need to know how bad the “official” servers are being moderated.
