Sec, command or anyone who isn’t a janitor shouldn’t be wearing one of these. Galoshes no being a jani only item allows a lot of powergaming and a hate it (and it not being a jani only item already may even be a oversight).

Tbh I’ve seen times when captains or security [including Hos] would just steal the galoshes or order them to be handed over, this mostly was before the speed nerf, but it still happens, I see command stealing afk jani galoshes and security just taking them off of the crit or dead jani’s.
So I agree it should be a service or Janitor only item. I added service only since calling it Janitor only seemed kind of weird, but the point still stands, command and security should not have galoshes.

Service only is probably a good idea, jani only if/when we get role specific items (afaik the code for this would be annoying compared to dept). As with anything with captains involved there is the issue of them being able to effectively overrule this, esp considering no powergaming rule (but like, at least there’d be precedent ig?)
