Events leading to the ban

So, i was tired, and it was late, but i logged on and saw that i needed 6 more minutes on medical to get chemist. so i decided, “why not?” and readied up.
*unfortunately,*i forgot i had all antags selected on my med character. So i got loaded in as a nukie commander, but there was only three of us. this was bad, as i haven’t played nukie before, except as a loneop, meaning i had ZERO team leading experience. i was tired, confused, and i should have removed myself straight away. however, i tried my best, but I wasn’t good enough and had no clue what the plan was. at this point, my team accused me of lying on my resume. i should have just given command to one of the others, but i thought i had enough time to figure out what to do. i really wanted to sleep, but just as i was about to disconnect, the admin popped in. i had enough of stuff by then, and so i decided to leave the ahelp, say “i have to go” in looc, and disconnected.

Reason the ban should be removed

i didn’t have time to explain, i should have read the rules (for nukie) first, and i want to take the nukie commander antag off my characters now. i just wanted 6 minutes as med, and ended up with a job that came with too much pressure to handle. i should have switched to a different server. i apologise, and understand why i was permabanned. i should really get some more sleep. and experience as a nukie. would have explained if it wasn’t late. (i live in australia and understand if you don’t think it was late)

Hello, before I state the outcome of this appeal I must note it was done in conjunction with a Trialmin who wished to learn about the process.

Their findings are the following:

• Statements made by the appellant in the appeal appear to be true.
• It is unlikely that the appellant was attempting to evade ahelp.
• The appellant has still violated our rules on how they handled the nukie commander role.

Following that, their opinion is that this ban should be reduced from indefinite to a temporary roleban. I concur.

A nukie roleban of 3 weeks will replace your current ban.

I would like to note that there are currently technical limitations with these rolebans. You should manually disable them on your character creation screen. Should we find you playing as a nukie during this time we will have to reinstate a bans,
