Events leading to the ban
I was admin pinged about being king grime, The admin explained that I’ve been warned for the character, but seeing as how the admin who originally warned me for it said I didn’t have to throw away the character just change it, I figured I could change the way the character worked. I explained to the admin that pinged me that Im changing the way the character works because before it was I admit a bit of a shitter character. The admin said that its a problem because the character lacks roleplay, which I responded that the previous admin said that the one gimmick of the character was fine (Saying variants of “I am king grime” instead of typical speech) because mimes exist. The admin then said that it was different because mimes use emotes and things to still interact with the crew. I assured him that That was the main change I made for the character, which was learning how to better speak to the crew through emoting and pointing. The admin never responded after this, nor did I ever say anything rude or insulting, nor did I do anything against the rules. I slipped the secoffs (not against the rules in and of itself) because they were chasing the clown and I was in a roleplay bit about standing with the clown on some protest that they were doing, I was throwing away nonlethal gear to distract the secoffs and keep them from shooting me without shooting back. That was all I did until I was rev and everything after was rev stuff.
Reason the ban should be removed
I looked at the rules i supposedly broke, nothing I did falls under any of them nor does it seem like anything that could be interpreted under those rules. I was barely arguing in ahelp, I was explaining why I wanted to play the character I made, I wasn’t doing anything that was intended to ruin the gameplay experience for anyone else, hell I was getting along with the crew and having a blast that round. I know its a short ban but its annoying I’ve been getting continuously pinged over a character that I made and am now being banned when I never broke any rules. (also I had to shorten the ban reason by a lot because it didn’t fit in the box)
