Hecate Demob is a prior contractor hired by Nanotrasen out of an indentured servitude contract. Born specifically as expendable labour and raised with that in mind by another megacorp, the relative camaraderie of the NT crew and the freedom from their old contract convinced them to apply as staff proper when their contract was complete.
Their naïvety is second only to their earnestness. Despite their chipper demeanor, they get critically stressed easily and cannot handle high tension situations for long.
