Events leading to the ban
I do not think this ban is fair, the CMO approved killing of Anteros (and did kill him, I did not). Anteros abandoned his role and when the medical department was struggling, I was doing two jobs. Not only that, he sabotaged by making it difficult for me to work and taking beakers which were later found by security and other medical staff.
I want to work towards being whitelisted on the other servers and so I’m worried this will now impact on that. I do not feel I did anything wrong. I escalated things to the CMO over quite a long period of time giving Anteros more than enough time to do his job or change department which I made suggestion to.
When you abandon your role and make the department angry, the CMO tried to intervene but this did not help. He also stole items from other members of staff, the janitor had to stage an angry outburst in the lab because of Anteros. The person who caused and led to all of this was Anteros himself.
I would appreciate this ban being removed.
Reason the ban should be removed
I do not feel this is a fair ban, Anteros was the reason for himself being killed by the CMO. He abandoned his role and made it difficult for others to do their role on top of that. There was a constant stream of passive aggressive comments which I chose to ignore.
I feel there should be consideration taken that Anteros is a frequent role abandoner and if you simply search his name in Discord you will see a wealth of people in agreement that he sets out to create a new role of causing issues for the crew. I stuck up for myself and yes the round was very frustrating but I don’t feel I escalated it without warning and plenty of time to change his behaviour. I’m as much as innocent bystander to Anteros’ behaviour as everyone in medbay was, including CMO.
I want to add I did then simply ignore Anteros before CMO decided to kill him and would appreciate and take onboard any advice to deal with this player in future. I have no idea how best to handle someone who made chemistry so hard.
