Ban reason: Self-antag, station sabotage, RDM, and role incompetence: as an atmos tech, I released high-pressure water vapor and ignited superheated atmos, causing widespread sabotage and player removal.
Length of ban: Indefinite
Ban Issue:
The ban is fair, but I would like a second chance or reduction
Vote Opt-Out: false
Events leading to the ban
I was having a typical round, and since there were no appealing roles left, I decided to play as the Atmospheric Technician. Unfortunately, I find Atmos Tech a bit tedious, and I often make mistakes in that role. Out of boredom, I thought it would be interesting to inject fog (water vapor) into the distribution system. I didn’t make the water vapor superheated myself; I believe that might have been the work of another Atmos Tech or possibly an antagonist.
After I introduced the fog into the distribution system, nothing seemed to happen at first. Then, quite unexpectedly, it became superheated. I’m not entirely sure what triggered that. Soon after, I received a ban for injecting superheated water vapor into the distro system. It was certainly not my intention to cause trouble, and I wish things had turned out differently.
Reason the ban should be removed
I thought injecting water vapor into the system wasn’t harmful, so I did it because it created a fun fog effect. I didn’t realize it could be harmful to slime people. It was a foolish mistake, but I genuinely didn’t know, and I believe I deserve a second chance to make things right.
