Events leading to the ban

I haven’t played much of the game yesterday because I was focused on learning its mechanics watching videos on YouTube as I am a new player.
However, I do not use a VPN or even know what a “datacenter” is.
I am wholly unsure what causes this.
Yesterday, the game was working fine–I picked the Janitor and then the Mechanic Assistent on a non-official server and went around just figuring stuff.
Now when I try to log onto any official server (notably Lizard as I need to play on it before I move to Leviathan or other official servers) I am faced with this predicament.
I have never used a VPN on my laptop.

Reason the ban should be removed

I do not use VPNs.

I do not own alternative accounts; Skalokkin is my singular account in SS14.

Are you maybe connecting through a university network / etc?

No. I always used the same connection from home; it’s the only connection I have.

Update: I found out by resetting my hotspot that the game gets back to behave normally, for some reason.
