Events leading to the ban
I simply asked what channel is it okay to post memes, and a mod replied telling me there was no channel and that they were not moderating my shitposts in a very rude manner for no reason. I replied in a rude manner as well, and when I noticed they were replying to others rudely I told it how it was. They stayed silent for quite a bit of time until I was just banned out of nowhere.
Reason the ban should be removed
I do not agree that I overstepped my boundaries. I told it like it was. I do understand that two wrongs don’t make a right, but that being said, those in authority should be held to a higher standard, and to ban me for what I said is, in my belief, completely unreasonable without a word or warning. I cannot believe that mods are so meek to be confrontational and do not try to speak to the members before issuing bans for relatively petty matters. If they are this rude in response to simple questions or concerns, and it is acceptable for mods to behave in such an unapproachable demeanor, and I was in the wrong within the purview of the server’s moderation, then I would very much like to remain banned. To be clear, I seriously don’t care if they’re going to be rude, but if any retaliation is just silenced, then its genuinely unacceptable.
