I know some people sink an unhealthy amount of time into medbay. This makes them a sort of “expert” of medical, or consultant. I have predicted a couple of points in this thread before it hit mainstream, thanks to my extensive hours in medical.
Veterans medical players understand how chems work and the flow of medbay in a shift. Casual players do not play medical exclusively, but still play medical from time to time. Non-medical players can be any one that interacts with medbay (tider, security). This focus group would include crew-aligned (do good things) and antag-aligned (this mix is the deadliest!) players, which would diversify perspectives.
Again, SS14 is a community based-game. Wouldn’t developers and maintainers want to understand what kind of players are playing the game? What would help players and maintainers themselves enjoy the game more? How could developers foster a well-knit community? I see that having multiple perspectives enrich the game and community.
