We have removed the community KGB-Station due to a violation of the Space Wizards hub rules:
- 1.7. Do not send false information to the hub.
- 2.2. Do not impersonate other servers, developers, or organizations.
Due to KGB-Station lacking any form of contact information, alongside the severity of the offense, there was no option to de-escalate other than a removal from the hub for the time being.
Details
At around 00:30 GMT, a duplicate of Estacao Andromeda appeared on the hub, confirmed to be hosted from KGB-Station’s server, and carrying the same reported information as KGB-Station. Additionally, during this time, the real Estacao Andromeda server was suffering from a DDoS attack, and KGB-Station switched its main listing’s name to ridicule Estacao Andromeda.
Impersonating Estacao Andromeda through a separate server listing, and duplicating a server entry to begin with, constitutes a violation of 1.7 and 2.2. Due to the lack of contact information provided by KGB-Station, the server has been dehubbed.
This dehubbing also affects [BR][LRP] GOOB BR-STATION, as it’s hosted from KGB-Station’s box. Due to it also lacking contact information, there’s no way to verify that GOOB BR-STATION is independent from KGB-Station.
