Events leading to the ban
- 17 minutes into the shift, two of my friends, as well as i have joined the crew on Cog station, one of them was a returning player and was asking for help on how to play.
- I guided them to the tools cabinet to obtain tools such as crowbar, wrench and screwdriver.
- I began to dismantle the reinforced glass windows at the tools cabinet and was making shivs.
- Made more contra such as a stun prod and cuffs and then headed into maints.
- We then left maints to go to the bar, dismantled 5 chairs for 15 wood planks to make them all baseball bats.
- RandomHooligan451 and the Oliver moth were fighting each other in game, as a sec named Lenny Hall was calling them out to tell them to stop. The brawling stopped when an arrest threat was made.
- We went into maints to explore, ended up in an ‘atmos’ maint area.
- RandomHooligan451 was asking a few questions about keybinds, specifically about how to access inventories, point at objects, interacting with objects without using the item in your hand, interacting with objects in your hand all without using a mouse etc.
- After we left an ‘atmos’ area in a maints, we went to a graveyard area just above Medical. Where the moth named Oliver was randomly digging up graves, RandomHooligan451 was being attacked by the bees in the graveyard. I used my baseball bat
- We went to Medical afterward, it was covered in Water Vapour. They both went deeper into medical where it was all spaced. I was asking them to leave but i wasn’t aware that they were already outside. The holofans seperating the atmospheres between Medical and the hallways eventually faded and started spacing us.
- We were returning back to the Bar, i picked up an Ale Growler bottle, opened it, left the Bar and a few seconds after the Admin messages appeared.
- I do not remember the Admin’s name but they start with a T. They asked if i was in a VC with my other two friends and i told them yes. They told me that Metacomming is against the rules and that i am to be given an appeal-only ban.
- A few moments later and i have been banned. Thus i am now writing this appeal.
Reason the ban should be removed
I was aware of Metacomming being against the rules and should have not joined the game to teach a new player how to play the game. The reason why i joined is because i wanted to have fun along with my friends as well as teach them how to play. I also understand that due to my playtime i should be aware of these rules and should’ve never commited to any actions that go against them.
