During nukies I feel AIs usually get the shortest end of the stick unless of they are able to accurately call out which way they are flung and salvage doesnt completely fumble regaining them or get antimov’d.
Either way I personally feel the AI should be able to read its coordinates at all times.
Its mostly just so the AI player doesnt get shafted atleast 90% of the time, then again though I mostly play Lizard, maybe Mander AIs gets found way more often.
Maybe also some core defense that work on anyone except for command and sec also if they could maybe have Like a drone or something that only they can control so they can like help engi repair stuff and other things so that have more game play and rp potential
Once disconnected, they cannot be reconnected. So they get the short end regardless.
But as a main AI player i feel it is fine. AI is VERY powerful overall, and the maneuver required to disconnect it from the station is only worth it on a few maps usually (so it is a mapping issue if anything).
I sometimes ask engi to reinforce the walkway a bit when they have time on the more problematic maps. But its kind threading into meta territory.
If antags breach your core then that’s just how the game goes. It is like being HoP and complaining that a syndie blew up your front desk. That’s just the game.
You start and STAY surrounded by layers of reinforced walls all shift. That is more than any other crew member could ask for.
