Pretty much just the title. With the new gen-pop changes to some stations, prisoners now receive an ID which gives them a new “job” icon. Does this icon designate them as crew as other icons do for the purpose of silicon laws? Would the AI and borgs be required to follow requests by inmates?

Brig/prisoner icon is not considered crew for silicon laws.
It would create a significant and undesirable loophole if they were.
