Boris Kermit was born on a rough, backwater planet far from the core systems, where he learned to survive amidst constant threats like armed bandits, disease, and hostile wildlife. With little formal schooling, he enlisted as a soldier at a young age, where his natural combat skills and quick thinking made him a valuable asset. However, the brutality of soldiering pushed him into a habit of heavy drinking, a coping mechanism for the trauma and stress he faced. Despite this, Boris remains fiercely loyal and dedicated to his comrades. His military background eventually caught the attention of Nanotrasen, who hired him for his expertise in combat and survival. Though his drinking problem is an ongoing challenge, Boris continues to work hard, using his skills to protect and serve.
