Character Description
Meliora was born on a fleet of ships that made their home traveling between sectors. She has a large extended family with many adoptees found during travels. Growing up she felt isolated, as no one else shared her love of strange phenomenon.
While her family was mostly engineers and salvagers, Meliora never really took to either, aside from the rare occasions when she was salvaging and found something incomprehensible to known science. She would excitedly study it and document her findings to the exasperation of her family.
She joined Nanotrasen for the opportunity to study plasma, as they were the only ones with steady access and funding for research. She feels little attachment to Central Command.
When she first signed on, she was rather neutral on the organizations that picked fights with NT, but as time went on and she saw the results of their agents’ objectives, she has come to harbor a burning hatred for the syndicate leaders who send their people out to kill and die for them.
