Events leading to the ban
So, I’m playing security and at that point medbay had been bombed, HOM was dead, and it was all going to shit in classic SS14 way we were code blue. Then I am ambushed by the person who would later die in the crusher can’t remember the name. the situation was I was at engi and they walked up to me and tried to kill me with a pistol. I survived then found them later standing next to an artifact crushing machine with like 5 other people. It was very packed everyone was putting themselves in to be crushed, I think. They were already set to wanted so I simply walked up and stunned them and tried to cuff them when they were at the crusher. Now I think the part that got the admin confused funny enough was the mime or someone else was pulling the stunned person into the crusher. I tried dragging them out but I couldn’t for some reason I think either the person who I was trying to arrest kept closing the door or someone else kept slamming the door closed and pushing them back in.
They were not cuffed at the time I think as it failed to cuff when they got dragged away. But for like a good 20 seconds I’m trying to drag them out but the door keeps getting closed by the mime I think? or any of the other people who are around. But they get crushed and I get the admin message just saying I did it. I tried to say I wanted them alive but they said I did it intentionally. But it makes no sense I had been cleared for KOS on this person due to the ambush so I could have just killed them right away. The admin did not ask any of the other people like the mime if they did it or anything else. But I think the admin got confused because I said “Syndie Scum” when they were crushed. I honestly thought they crushed themselves so they wouldn’t get taken in for questioning it seemed like a pretty smart play. But yah after like 2 messages from them I was banned by the admin for something I didn’t even do. There honestly should have spent a little more effort on the admin to check I’ve had in game investigations with 10x the effort put in.
Also, I would like to add the person who was being crushed was typing things like weeee or goodby world stuff like that instead of trying to escape so I think they realized they were cooked and didn’t attempt to leave.
But honestly no hate for the admin its honestly very understandable how they got confused. Mainly writing this just so I can get any bad status on my account and for my own personal feelings.
Reason the ban should be removed
Banned simply for the wrong thing I wanted that person alive because I like playing sec properly. I’ve never been banned before and never had a complaint put against me. I am mostly doing this to remove any previous ban status on my account rather than needing to play again for the next three days.
