Events leading to the ban
I apologize for any inaccuracies, it’s been a bit.
I believe I had been going through some sort of mental breakdown at the time of the ban and had no idea who to go to about it. This wasn’t the first time it had happened, and during these incidents I would often get told by moderators not to talk to a public discord server about these things. Several times in these incidents I spoke about having harmed myself and ended up making people uncomfortable. I was banned a short time after I had stop talking in the chat the last time.
Reason the ban should be removed
I’ve gotten a lot better mentally since being banned 5 months ago. I’m on antidepressant medication, I have people to support me when I’m not doing well, and I feel like I’ve overall matured enough that I think being in this server won’t stress me out as much as it used to. I feel ready to return, and even if it turns out I’m not, I believe I’m reasonable enough now to step back on my own if that’s the case.
