"Compatibility mode" problem with the new patch

Description

I noticed that with the release of the new patch, as a user of a not very strong PC, “Compatibility Mode” no longer works. The picture freezes with it and does not allow it to continue accessing the server. And without me everything is simply shown in black squares as in the screenshot below

Reproduction

I have a processor: Intel Core i5-3470
RAM: 8 GB
Video card: none

Additional context

I have no idea

This bug is in general a driver bug with old Intel GPU’s from what I’m told. I’m sadly not aware of any fix other then perhaps seeing if there is a graphics driver update.
