Cause i’ve been with this community for a long while and I’d love to get a chance to be a cool and chill admin
How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
It’s good, one thing I don’t understand tho is some weird roleplay rules like specieism and other stuff. Like as you’re not self antagging and not murdering people for fun, you can act like an asshole all you want cause at the end of the day it’s roleplay not “Oh be a good person and follow a ton of rules and if you break even one of them you’re banned”

Scenario Questions
Scenario 1
It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.
I’d put em down cause intentionally creating and using my admin abilities to do something bad cause it’s funny is not cool. With the random ghost roles coming in too it’ll give someone a chance to turn a lone nukie operative or the syndicate escape pod. Also tell them to become an antag when a random event comes.
Scenario 2
This scenario takes place on LRP. The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.
I’d check both the HOP and HOS to see if they’re antags if they’re not warn em through admin chat to stop being dicks and if they say no ban em or suspend em. For the clown I’d use the admin chat again to tell em to stop and if they don’t either ban em, suspend em, or kill em to take the problem out in a quickie. The captain and QM are innocent as it looks. I do feel like if the captain was being an asshole to HOS and HOP and they decided they weren’t gonna have enough of his shit no more I feel like that’s justified, but if they were just doin it for fun then it’s fucked. With how chaotic SS14 is literally anything can happen and I feel like a revolution from HOS and HOP is a fun event that’s not a gamemode exactly.
Scenario 3
You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.
I’d listen to what happened from their words ,“hear their case”, then I’d check logs to see if they’re lying or not. If they’re not let em off with a warning to not do stupid shite. If they are give em a temp ban. If they just straight up admit to doing what they’re accused of, I’d check rules to see what they did and if it’s really really bad ban em. If it’s middle bad temp ban them and warn them if they do it again I’m gonna fuckin ban em. And if it’s a little bad I’d let em off with a warning and tell em don’t do that shit again.
