Ryan managed to get a job at Nanotrasen after being let go from his previous post as a scientist. An accident resulted in most of the department being destroyed with multiple injured and Ryan losing an eye. Despite this, he continues to be a hard worker and is willing to put in the effort to keep his department running. He is known to be a fairly serious individual, especially when it comes to things that could get others hurt. Despite his demeanor and the accident, he is still willing to take risks when the benefit is worth it.
