Ban reason: The ban reason is: "Banned for mass destruction. During #77167 on Leviathan you disconnected all solars as skeleton and proceeded to kill 21 people.
Length of ban: Indefinite
Ban Issue:
What I was banned for is not against the rules

Events leading to the ban

I was a skeleton on plasma station where basically nothing was happening so I decided to break into caps office. I was disconnecting solars to lure engi’s out so I can kill them for their external access (Solars was able to be easily put back as the grid wasn’t disconnected from the station completely, I tested this by putting down a rod and was able to place down HV to reconnect solars) When I did break into caps office a loneop appeared and the entire crew armed to kill the loneop. During this I grabbed HoS’ gun and started killing the crew once the loneop died. I wanted to steal cap’s items and declare myself skelly-cap but the AI called me out and the crew started fighting back. Eventually after a while, I killed most of the crew and had cap in bridge where I finished them off and as I went to check the comms console evac was already called (By AI I’m assuming). At this point most of the crew had fought me and tried to kill me by suicide bombing, trying to quickly stun me, etc. So when evac came I went to the shuttle and killed anyone that seemed like they were trying to attack me or trick me into getting close to them.

Reason the ban should be removed

I am a free agent without any objectives whatsoever, I have seen multiple players kill sec, command and crew as skeletons and not have any reprecussions. I have done this before in the past as a skeleton and have never been ahelped or warned/banned for taking over a station as a skeleton. The solars were easily able to be fixed by simple placing down a rod and HV right back on it. As rule 2.9 states: “As an antagonist, do not cause excessive death, damage, or destruction beyond your objectives.” I don’t seem to understand how rule 2.9 would apply to a skeleton as they do not have objectives. I did not round remove anyone by gibbing and did not permanently hinder the station’s power as I only went into engi to get magboots and never went back in. I did the exact same thing as a skeleton the same day or the day before and was never ahelped or banned/warned. How can other free agents such as a dragon not be punished for “Free agents must still follow rule 2.9.” when they quite literally space the most of the station and devour corpses until they rot, while having objectives to open carp portals and survive. Would a space dragon not be breaking rule 2.9?

Since a skeleton doesn’t have objectives, you shouldn’t cause excessive damage in anyway.

The Fact that you did something similar without getting ahelped doesn’t excuse your actions.

Dragons objectives justifies the damage they do

You have been banned and warned for excessive damage before but you still go there and try to cause as much damage as possible. I am going to make sure you learn how to enjoy the game without having to be causing major damage to everyone else

I am going to reduce your indef game ban to a 3 week roleban in:

  • nukies (commander, agent, operative, loneop)
  • traitor
  • sleeper agent
  • head revolutionary (you can still be converted to rev)
  • initial infected (you can still become a zombie)
  • thief
  • space ninja
  • space dragon
  • skeleton

Some of these rolebans we can’t mechanically enforce. however we can easily verify if you got any of these roles and in that case it will be considered ban evasion. I suggest turning off all antag options in the character customization menu.
