Events leading to the ban

I would like to be perfectly clear in the regards to my stance on Transgenders. I have absolutely no hate or transphobia towards anyone in the LGBTQ community. I was simply stating a scientific fact in chat. I wasn’t arguing or anything. I have family members and friends who have taken HRT and I don’t see them any differently. I’m sorry if I offended someone by stating truths. I am neurodivergent and on the autism spectrum. I see facts as facts and I say them, regardless of the subject matter. I am not transphobic.

What prompted you to say this?

Someone in chat said they wished they were female and another said “we have the technology”. I meant nothing in my statement other than the simple truth. Your genetic chromosomes aren’t changed through HRT.

And, to be frank, HRT is a terrible solution to something that doesn’t require any medical intervention. Identifying doesn’t require any “technology”. That’s just encouraging kids to do irreversible damage to their bodies.

That’s unrelated to your appeal. Save the sermons for somewhere else.

That’s highly debatable. As an adult and community moderator, not caring about the safety of your members, regardless of age, is negligent.

This appeal was made on the basis of ‘I did not do what I was banned for.’ You did, however, obviously do so. Attempting to use neurodivergency as a shield for a fairly transparent jab at another player is not a defense. Nor is shoddy bioessentialism armor against trying to tear down a member of our community. Thankfully, what is and isn’t highly debatable is up to admin discretion.

We have decided by unanimous vote to remove you from our community. A voucher ban has been placed; meaning that you are not allowed to appeal this ban for, at minimum, the next six months. If you wish to return to wizden servers you also require an admin from a reasonably well-known server to vouch for your consistent good (and non-transphobic) behavior over an extended period - ideally that six months. Regardless, active malice against our players will not be allowed to stand.
