Stephanie comes from a less developed part of the galaxy, spending most of her life on a small colony built into an asteroid. For many years, she worked as a plasma miner, making small trips into nearby space to mine asteroids for valuable minerals. When she saw that an opening for a job as a Nanotrasen Salvage Specialist opened up, she knew she had to take the opportunity. Despite lacking any formal training, she somehow managed to land a spot aboard the Station.
