Forensic Investigators for solving minor and major crimes led by the Detective

hopefully this is the right place to suggest this idea.

What are you guys thoughts on a forensic team that falls under the Detective.
We can have couple investigators that go around the station solving crimes and interrogating the crew.

I would love to be part of a team of investigators led by the station’s detective. I want to go around with forensic tools taking notes from crews who witnessed a crime or looking for leads regarding what ever.

this team of investigators would usually sit at sec desks and try to communicate and figure out things regarding crimes whether they are major or minor.

That sounds like a fantastically immersive way to improve gameplay! And I’m not trying to rain on your idea but the Detective might already do that with other officers in any given situation. They being able to do that on an actual ‘official’ level would be an interesting spin on that role’s responsibilities.
