What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin? I think it would be a fun thing to do, additionally I know that admins have a lot on their plates and want to help with that
What are you least interested in doing as an admin? I don’t really want to ban people, I can, but I don’t want to be attributed to a negative experience

What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
Their main job is usually serving as an enforcement of rules, but they also have the task of making sure the people in the server have fun.
Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
I think it will be a fun experience while I can also help people to make their experiences better
How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
It’s alright, I mostly play on Lrp, so that’s probably why, but there are many times people have broken the meta shield or not acted in character, however there are also a lot of good rps that I have experienced that make the game what it is
Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?
Interacting with the players either by answering questions or by giving them opportunities to have fun interactions
Have you ever had a negative experience in the game or with a game admin? If so what, if anything, would you do to prevent other players from experiencing this?
I have not, but I have heard of others experiencing said negative interactions. I personally would make sure that I get as much of the story as possible before making any major decisions such as banning.

Yes, I quite enjoy the admemes and such that admins like Bossman do, it’s a fun break from a bit of the monotony that the game can have
Scenario Questions
Scenario 1
It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.
It depends on who these players are and prior rounds, I likely won’t do anything, however say it’s been a rough few rounds, I might message an antag or two and ask if they want a task change to spice it up a bit, though it won’t be anything that will negatively impact anyone’s experience
Scenario 2
This scenario takes place on LRP. The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.
I would start by messaging the Hos to ask why they started the coup, I will also message the captain to get their side of the story. Hop and Hos will be messaged depending on the answer, if it is a valid reason they will be told to avoid escalation, if it was not, they will be warned about their actions, if they have multiple warnings role bans may be considered, for the captain, if they were in the wrong for the coup, they will also be warned ir role banned depending on past warnings.
The quartermaster isn’t really doing anything wrong in my opinion, but if they were significant in the coup they will receive coorespondibg actions as mentioned previously.
The clown depends on how they got the saber and if they were told to do so by Hos/sec/Hop they will be warned on their actions but will likely be given only a warning unless they have a lot of previous rule breaks the are related to the situation.
Scenario 3
You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.
I personally will just warn them, though it depends on their attitude in the ahelp, I don’t think an indefinite ban is appropriate in this situation, at most a temporary ban. However, if they make the same action later, it will be a definite temporary ban.
