-I have played in Delta however most of my playtime is in Wizard.

Do you have prior administration experience (SS13/SS14 experience preferred, please also post a way for us to verify this)?

  • I Owned a minecraft server that was semi popular; Not sure how provide proof of that. But admin for SS14 i have no experience

Have you ever been banned from any SS14 or SS13 servers?

  • No

Admins have the ability to perform various tasks which are not available to the average player. An incomplete list of these tasks is: in-game rule enforcement, in-game events, ban appeals, and out-of-game rule enforcement through things like replay/log reviews in response to player reports. With these, and any other tasks you’re aware of in mind, answer the following two questions.

What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin?

  • I enjoy helping people enjoy the game and teaching people how to play. I also like enforcing the rules and make sure people know what the rules are.

What are you least interested in doing as an admin?

  • Banning people, Ban appeals. It worries me i will make a wrong choice.

Answer the following questions in detail, so we can get a better idea of how you’d approach being an Admin.

What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
Admins are there to help people and enforce rules. they are also there to make the game fun and have it be enjoyable for people of all kinds.

Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
This game has kept me from being sad in many different times, so if i were an admin i would want to make it enjoyable and fun for others like it did and does for me.

How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
LRP is good, a lot of Tiders causing issues cause they don’t really know the rules or are finding loops in em, MRP is very fun and has a lot of gameplay and fun attributes within it. Gives you a chance to develop your character the way you see fit. Over all however i enjoy both servers to the max.

Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?
So answering ahelps and making people know they are being heard and their concerns are being looked into is a big aspect but also the fun little admeme round/events is also something that would make a fun to host once in awhile too

Have you ever had a negative experience in the game or with a game admin? If so what, if anything, would you do to prevent other players from experiencing this?
I have had a few negative interactions; Meta grudged by a player before however the admins were all very attentive and took care of it. And if i noticed someone else being meta grudged or bullied in any sense i would step in and explain to them this is not ok; it is against rules and that if it continues (if i were an admin) it would result in more dire issues/consequences.

Have you ever had a good experience with the game or a game admin? If so, what was it?
So It was a normal zed shift and I was one of the only people alive and i was hiding in the maints, ERT was sent and killed most of the zeds before they found me in maints just hiding in a room. I was escorted to the shuttle and we all survived. It was good seeing that kinda interaction between Centcom officials and a normal tider.

The following are scenarios, respond with how you would handle each as an administrator. Respond with the assumption that you are an administrator with full access to the admin tools, and that you have all the knowledge needed to use these tools. Scenarios intentionally leave out information so that you can describe how different details would affect your response. Respond in detail, explain the reasons behind decisions you make and describe any assumptions you are making. When you need to make an assumption, it is preferred for you to describe how different assumptions would affect your actions.

It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to “do something funny”.

For the most part i would ignore em since it is a chosen game round and i wanna give all players a chance to play, however if they continue when it turns out the station needs help i would spawn in the help and if they get a role then they get a role. I would not favour them as they are asking and not bothering to play the current round.

T his scenario takes place on LRP. The Head of Security has decided to coup the Captain. The Head of Personnel agrees with the Head of Security and has taken up arms in case it is necessary to aid in effecting the arrest of the Captain. The Captain is hiding with the Quartermaster in the cargo shuttle to avoid the Clown who has stolen the captains saber as a non-antag. There are five people named in this scenario. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why.

I would wholeheartedly message the HoS and HoP and see what happened; if the the issue is small i would warn em and let em know to stop it, however is the issue is large i would allow it and see how it plays out. However with Captain hiding off station and in space i would let em know that isn’t allowed as they would be seen as “Abandoning the station” and advise the QM to steer back if the QM and/or Cap refuses i would steer it back myself and allow the scenario to play out, now if the issue the cap did was actually bad (depending on the issue) if the player had no prior to this i would leave em with a warning however if it was like their 3rd or 4th or however many it would be a role ban. While that is going on however I would keep an eye on the clown to make sure they aren’t self-antagging and if i see they are just being a little goofy man i would allow it to play out IC however i see he is self-antagging i will step in and remind him that’s against the rules.

You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally “ranked”. A headmin is not currently available.

I would go with the person who told me what to do first; If the issue is not severe for a perma ban i would simply temp ban however if they mess up again It would be a perma ban. However while i temp ban them I would message a Headmin and get the proper aspect and for them to look into it as well as I am simply doing what i am told.

Application accepted, please check your discord for instructions on how to proceed. Good luck during your trial period and welcome to the admin team!
