first time playing in ages, and as soon as i spawn in, i allready notice its hell. like, i try to move, and then i glitch back and forward, and then i jump forward 2 blocks, and then i stay still, and then i go forward like a bit. this never used to happen? what happened to movement prediction?
Not sure what you mean but it could be lag or something along the lines of that? maybe you didnt choose the right(Nearest) server?
yeah probably, im from NZ, and im trying ronstation, and its actaully going good

Prediction is still a thing, in fact a lot of effort was put into making more existing code predicted.
Which servers did you test this on? Maybe try pressing F3, which will show you some additional info about your internet connection and ping.
Since you mentioned you did not play in a long time: Did you change any settings in the networking options menu before it was removed?
ronstation RSO incredibly unoptimized. what your getting is the better end, most people fully freeze up
edit: i mixed up my servers. ratbite is the one with RSO, ronstation is perfectly fine
Our servers have just been laggy lately due to waves vaguely at the codebase. Thatâs likely whatâs causing it if youâre playing at peak times.
