I wanted to play crystal edge for some time but i have one issue

i live in turkey

discord is banned in turkey (crystal edge wants you to authorize your account trough discord)

i have done all the whitelists trough ahelps because of this reason but i can t join that server to ahelp for this, if anyone can foward this toward to crystal edge staff, that would be ewsome and yes i know there is VPN s but majority of them also banned here (figured proton is acessable) and i don t really want to use VPN, i am not 100% sure how it works but i do know people here messing with their own DNS and making their own VPN somehow to avoid using others, i heard that was because our national cybersecuriy is bad but i don t know how true it is.

Sorry missread your issue you wont be able to join as atm its not possible to bypass the discord auth this is also a requirement for the obt

Still, VPN is your best bet. Reading about it NordVPN still works and its pretty straightforward setup. If it doesn’t work NordVPN offers refunds too.

It is, it really seems like there just may be no better option for you unfortunately :tired_face:

The only decent free VPN I know of is WindScribe and i’m reading that it’s dubious if it will work in turkiye, I guess its worth a shot anyway.

I know people have a good chance with Cloudflare warp… Technically It’s not really a VPN persay, but it does change your IP now. Cloudflare I assume is not banned in Turkey since it kinda protects like 20% of the internet… probably.

Had some people have luck with it and some don’t.

its been few days but, i was wondering if anyone possibly fowarded it to their staff or got any response at all? because i noticed i can t join open beta plays neither because of authorization think

As previously stated, the Discord auth is a non-negotiable. It won’t work for someone to just message the mods. Your best bet is, in fact, a vpn. Many offer a free trial you could take advantage of. Best of luck.

At the end of the day, Discord is by far the easiest way for communities to have a platform. For upstream we put in the work to not depend on it, but asking the same of downstreams is effectively asking them to do work for free. The internet sucks.
