Events leading to the ban
Was working as QM, bounty for vegetables hadn’t been done all shift even though I called multiple times and sent cargo, so I decided id do it myself. Broke into botany by smashing the glass because the station was already in bad condition, no one nearby to let me in at the time, and most of command/sec was busy dealing with space dragon. Waited till a botanist came and questioned why no one did the bounty, said he was working on med only so I said fine, i’ll do it myself. Had to get an engineer to hack the vendor because the botanist refused to help me do the bounty or get the seeds for the bounty (mind you, still had 8 open hydro trays) but was then told to leave multiple times and said he “didnt want to have to burn me”, tried dragging me out, i punched him a few times, stopped and stepped back, he sets me on fire with phlog that he just had for some reason, so i beat him to crit because I think hes tryna kill me for this transgression. Ends up pouring Phlog on himself. Have to leave anyway because dragon has destroyed cargo by this point.
Reason the ban should be removed
I get that command shouldn’t start fights and I do feel the situation could’ve been avoided non-violently but at that time I was annoyed that I couldn’t get a simple bounty done because the other botanist was off being a traitor and the phlog botanist decided he didnt want to help and wouldn’t even let me use the multiple empty botany trays. I enjoy playing as command and would like to think I’m pretty good at playing command roles such as QM, wouldn’t mind if it was just a few week ban or something but not being able to play QM is a bummer all because some guy decided he didnt want to play nice. In saying that, I get how there was other ways I could’ve done the bounty, but this was an hour or so into the round, I just wanted that bounty done.
