I been messing around in a local server, and find you can’t make enough frezon from one can of plasma to buy more plasma. It’s sort of a small thing but feels wired frezon is in a way worth less then plasma. I get why frezon is worth less now 130,000 spesos was a LOT, But I wonder should plasma be cheaper now too or frezon be worth just a bit more. most of the times I could make around 2000 to 3000 spesos mostly in the 2300 range that’s basically just half of what a can of plasma costs(4000).

honestly, i think re-buffing the amount of trit needed to make frezon might make this whole thing more reasonable. as it is, it’s been nerfed to the point of being a waste of time and money - it’s not worth making for cargo, and there isn’t really much else it can be used for, aside from getting high or making an obscure toxin.
i understand it had to be nerfed, but i think just nerfing the price or the recipe would’ve been enough.

Yeah I do feel something needs to change I had took a brake from testing but have gone back, its not profitable nor worth doing anymore. A can chilled at -250c and filled at 9000kpa is about 13k that’s only 3 cans of plasma it takes WAY more then 3 cans to make that amount of frezon let alone the time it takes to fill a can is insane and makes it all kind of pointless.
Like think of these “wow 13k after more then an hour into the round”, “oh we are going home anyways”, " oh we’ve made plenty of money because we’ve had all this time too", "only 13k scoffs " just as a few things I bet cargo will say, and atmos techs will feel.
Maybe like MozarteanChaos said “re-buffing the amount of trit needed to make frezon”, or maybe more trit made from the plasma burn could work.
edit: I was filling a can well writing this as of this edit im at 3000KPA -249.7c and it’s an hour into the round, I started filling the can around 23 minutes into the round
so roughly it would take an hour and a half to get a full can
it is in fact more profitable to sell the tritium it would take to make frezon than it would be to sell the frezon
I did some more testing with a spawned in can of tritium, its worth 4879.28 spesos, a spawned in frezon can is worth 761.51 spesos. And you can not make enough frezon with one can of tritium to make profit, I can make around 2000-3000 spesos worth(my last test being at 2747.08 spesos) So it’s true tritium is more profitable to sell then frezon at this point.
