Events leading to the ban
My friend, Lan server and myself decided to hop onto the LRP wizden server so I could teach him the controls and walk him around the station. we joined late round and I forgot to disable antag rolls, this then prompted me to ask an admin if I could somehow convince my friend “in game” to join me. almost immediately they responded with this being considered “meta coms” and that i had to teach them with “LOOC”. after a brief exchange i suggested he removed my antag rolls to ease his mind on the “meta coms” so i could just peacefully walk him around the station that was already rather doomed due to a singuloose.
After I sent this message however he proceeded to msg my friend, who at the time was in a boxing match in game and completely interupt that to start talking down on him at the same time. Despite this we disconected from the call briefly until we both tied to the aforementioned singuloose, after this we re joined to chat while both dead and he mentioned that the admin had an issue with his in game name being Wan, despite this being his real life name. This comment from the admin left the impression that he was sort of pushing him around foe the sake of asserting themselves, resulting in me sending a message letting them know that WAN was indeed his name to which he responded with are you “meta communicating with them”.
From my perspective it felt as if this person was harassing us and I informed them of my intent to form a complaint, after receiving a link to the site to do so they informed me that I would be banned for metta coms despite the situation of teaching a first time player.
Reason the ban should be removed
I understand that I was in the wrong for disagreeing with your admin and can also understand how metta coms can be a serious issue but at the time thought that this was not that, It has since then been made clear to me how wrong i was and i would like to apologise for how I acted at the time.
This is my first issue with a Rule being broken in over 600 hours in ss13 and 14 and have been made aware of the seriousness of this issue directly.
I do not intend on doing this in the future and would greatly appreciate a second chance.
