Ban reason: Alt of Restless_Samuel
Length of ban: Appeal Ban - Indefinite
Events leading to the ban: So 11 months ago I got banned for self-antagging and I was told to get a voucher from the admins, I decided to give up on it and tried to find something else to play. Now here I am, 11 months later. I got the chance to play again on an alt, and since I really love the game I wanted to play properly this time, so that’s what I did. I hoped nobody would find out and I could just move past it and forget about it. Turns out that’s not the case anymore and so here we are yet again.
Reason the ban should be removed: It’s been almost a year since I got banned for self-antagging and even though I made an alt almost a year later, I played normally and did my job properly this time, so I hope you can take my activity on this alt into consideration and that we can move on from what happened a year ago and leave the past behind us and that my ways of playing are different than from a year ago. I’ve realized that my past actions are wrong and wish to play only for the RP experience, instead of doing bullshit like I did a year ago.
Ban evasion is not a path around a voucher ban. Even if you had played for a significant amount of time without issues, accepting this appeal would encourage those who have been voucher banned to evade their bans.
As for your activity on this alt, you connected on 7 separate days. In that time you were bwoinked for spending the entire cargo budget on pizza without talking to anyone, for being a friendly zombie, and for abusing emotes to bypass chat restrictions. While this certainly wouldn’t result in an indefinite or voucher ban for a player with no other history, it is certainly not doing your job properly. Wasting the entire cargo budget arguably fits into the “self-antagging” category, and being a friendly antag is the self-antaging for antags. None of these three examples of issues appear to be you trying to have an RP experience. Further, it appears that during much of the time when you were playing, there were no admins online. I would not be surprised to find that there were more issues during that time that simply went unnoticed.
Due to your attempt to evade your ban, you are banned indefinitely. You may appeal your ban, but only at least 6 months after your last ban evasion attempt, and only with a voucher of good behavior from another SS13/SS14 server.
A voucher of good behavior should be obtained from a well-known or decently active SS13/SS14 server. If it is a mainstream server, we recommend using that server’s admin-help to ask for a voucher from one of the administrators explaining that you are trying to appeal a ban on SS14’s Wizard’s Den and want to show you have been a problem-free player during your playtime on the server. A voucher should be indicative of at least a few months of play. If the voucher is not from a mainstream server, let us know and we will figure out a way to verify it.
