Character Description
Mends is a long-tenured worker with Nanotrasen, having begun their tenure as a Seamstress aboard a frontier station. While working on one of these frontier stations, an accident Occurred, ether from a case of “wrong place, wrong time” or negligence, they do not know. this accident resulted in their work table being forcibly ejected upwards, severing their snout and further taking their eyesight entirely.
Due to limited access to facial reconstruction techniques they underwent an experimental surgery which fitted them with a false face made of limited function nano machines that take the form of a visor, a visor that provides them with the ability to see, smell and eat as normal… so long as its maintained on a regular basis.
After this injury, Mends returned to work for an additional 20 years aboard Nanotrasen’s various stations, even though their original position has long since been phased out.
