Hey hey, No matter what server I join I experience random rubberbanding constantly. At its best, I’m frozen in place for 30 seconds, at its worst I’m tossed through multiple rooms into a maintenance shaft, or into space if an airlock is open.
Is this a common problem? I play mainly on Wizden US East servers but its been happening with any server I join.
If anyone has a fix please let me know, Thanks!
a) If you press F3 and you see high ping, then its ping.
b) It could also be some client issue on your end, ping will be normal then. You might not get errors still though.
c) Then it could be something with server, it won’t be just you though.
In case of b, simply rebooting game can help, sometimes even just reconnecting. In worst cases you might need to file bug report or even delete server content to get it redownloaded.
Different entities experience lag and rubberbanding to different degrees. Ghosts tend to be worse and AI can have bad performance even when “everything is working fine” like when you rightclick trash pile in disposals.
