Events leading to the ban

there are no events that lead up to this it is saying that i have VPN active but the only VNP on my computer is BItdefender which is a virus blocker. this is the ban message that i got “Failed to connect to server:
Connect denied: You, or another user of this computer or connection, are banned from playing here.
The ban reason is: “You are connecting through a datacenter or VPN. For administrative reasons we do not allow VPN connections to play. This is not a permanent record against your account, turning off your VPN is sufficient. If you have a technical issue and need a VPN to be able to play, you can request an exemption at forum.ss14.io”

Reason the ban should be removed

i can’t turn the virus blocker off just so i can play a game

BItdefender allows for split tunneling. That is, set some programs or applications to bypass the VPN and connect to internet directly, please try to do that with SS14

i did whatt you said both steam and SS14 is bypassing the VPN and should connect to the internet directly but it is still showing the same message. can you please help?

Seems you managed to connect to Lizard with a different IP so I assume the split tunneling worked. I will close this appeal
