Much like how player controlled spiders can open bolted doors, Make syndicate jaws able to open them do, just with a much faster time perhaps.
This would stop AIs from just bolting doors and turning power off in the area to prevent nukies or syndicate agents from doing like anything unless they brought C4 or other explosives until sec arrives or crew re-cooperates etc…
Just a simple little feature to add to syndicate jaws that would encourage more people to buy them.
Ngl as AI It doesnt feel like I can do anything vs a direct attack from nukies. They c4 every reinforced wall. If nukies get confirmed i set my doors to EA as they wont check and just blow the wall up. I get the feeling its this way so you have to spend some resources to attack critical infrastructure. It may be different when the autoturrets arrive.
That is true for nuclear operatives but for syndicates I’ve seen a good hand full of them get their asses absolutely handed to them the moment they attack a single person, guess it just depends on the type of person playing the AI.
Theres a certain factor of luck. Ive had rounds where I’ve been helping and its all going great and then an engi tells me some of my doors are unbolted and now my hallway is beeping.
Since it`s not 13. You can easy debolt doors with pulse swipe, takes less then 1-3 seconds for me.
And if they bolted and depowered. I call it god engi work or command actually knows how to command.
There is only 2 things a fear. Clown and Chemist. Making their robust Lunchboxes of HONK(aka. syndicate explosive look like thrash in comparison).
