James was born on a backwater rim world planet and always had his eyes on the stars. From a young age he had a fascination with technology and tinkered with whatever garbage he could find lying around. When an opportunity to sign up with Nanotrasen came about he jumped on it immediately. While the lifestyle aboard Nanotrasen space stations wasn’t exactly what he envisioned, he has dedicated himself to learning the ins and outs of space engineering while secretly hoping for a chance to join the salvage teams to have a chance to see some alien planets. James tends to be very optimistic but under pressure that side comes apart and he can become quite tense and short.
