Julia Richardson is the second and youngest daughter of Franklin Richardson, a mid-level executive in the NanoTrasen corporation. Raised in the lap of luxury, Julia spent most of her youth enjoying an extravagant and easy lifestyle, until an “affluenza” incident occurred, which resulted in the mass destruction of NanoTrasen company property, the price of which was docked from Franklin’s monthly corporate pay bonus. In response, Franklin ordered Julia to commence work at a NanoTrasen station on the Frontier in order to make enough spesos to pay him back for the damage that she caused and the pay bonus that he lost. She intends to get back to being a lazy rich kid as soon as she’s paid her father back, though.
