I was thinking it would be fun if moths both didn’t take the normal burn damage from touching lights, and actually gained something from it, such as very minor healing (like, 3u of tri) or a little bit of nutriment. Any positive benefit would only be activateable every 2.5 minutes or so to prevent abuse, this is just supposed to be a fun idea to reinforce moths love of lights through gameplay.

I recently made a post about light interactions and was actually educated that they don’t love lights or are drawn to it, but that it just disorients them.
I mean I assume the moth species does like lights, because they groan about them when zombified.
I mean, this feels more actionable, making sudden introduction to bright lights from a dark place like maintenance hard for moths to adjust to. I think they would need a corresponding buff to go with it, like poison scales that fall off while meleeing or something, as it is a pretty impactful disadvantage.
What about giving them good vision in low light conditions?
That way Moths are good for handling dark areas, even if they take temporary blindness after?
Oh. Moth should be high as hell on proximity to lights then
