Mothroach harm mode needs to be taken away to be consistent with mice

Title, the mere presence of a harm mode has enabled ghost players to grief through, most often, welding fuel tank bombings, and it would be an easy fix to turn it off.

If the design goal of mothroaches are “mice but moth”, I see no reason why their potential impact would not be brought to a similar level.

Honestly fair.

If you wanna be a little disaster goblin as a mothroach, do what you were born to do and eat clothes. Don’t welderbomb medbay.

Heard that they apparently can also spill jugs via verb, no need to even dragspill like mice. Truly griefer powergamer species. :godo:

I think what needs to happen is a split in the free agent rules between “unaligned due to being an animal” and “unaligned due to personal reasons,” with animals still needing to follow escalation rules and not just welderbombing places. I personally like the small bite attack mothroaches have to be able to break into drawers and wardrobes, but that’s my personal choice compared to the multitude of people who use it to grief

Why can biting a welder tank make it explode anyway? That should probably only happen when you hit it with something hot like a welder.

Because bullets = pierce and because videogame logic of shooting fuel tank = kaboom so all biting attacks and saws also do that.
