Moths taking more heat damage and Diona being set on fire to any heat damage while also taking 50% more heat damage should probably be changed a bit.
This change would make it so
Moths now get set on fire from any heat damage
Moths no longer take 30% more heat damage
Moths now only take 150% flammable damage (INSTEAD OF 450%)
Diona now take 30% more heat damage (INSTEAD OF 50%)
Diona no longer get set on fire from any heat damage
Let me run you through my changes and the reasoning on why
Moths now getting set on fire from any heat damage and also taking less flammable damage. The reason for this is because fur gets set on fire easily but doesn’t immediately kill the thing wearing the fur. It is kind of ridiculous that moths take more heat damage and more firestack damage while firestacks are this strong. Right now a moth gets ashed INCREDIBLY quickly from pretty much any amount of firestacks. With my change moths will still need to avoid heat damage or carry a water bottle on them to put themselves out but don’t just get instantly killed upon being hit with 1 laser. The other way this could be changed is just REMOVING the firestack damage nerf because it is REALLY not necessary with moths being so bad. (Maybe if moths could fly around in space without a jetpack but i don’t know.)
Diona no longer getting set on fire and also taking 30% heat damage instead of 50% heat damage is because wood doesn’t just get set on fire usually from heat. When most healthy living trees have heat put on them they tend to char over (this is why you need kindling when you make a campfire). They DO NOT just spontaneously combust and burn. Diona are ALSO getting the heat damage buff because of the same reasoning but less so because the wood is still being damaged by the heat but not setting on fire. (you could also argue that diona have like a ton of living vegetation that essentially creates its own kindling so you COULD argue that them getting set on fire makes sense but diona already suck because of every other negative they have like not being able to wear shoes and more heat damage)
My change is simple and makes sense but obviously would need a maintainers approval.
