My thoughts after the time I have played

I just wanted to share my thoughts after getting to play around a bit. I think this has potential to be better then the original but I also have some bias to the original.
This feels like a mix of a few different Space station 13 servers and it is awesome how it works.

Coming off of space station 13 and trying to play this made me spend an hour rebinding a lot of key-binds but at least this game has the ability to customize key-binds, unlike 80% of the space station 13 server list.

First few times you step from one shuttle to another can literally throw you for a loop, but it is amazing how the majority of shuttles work with their own control system that allows for them to be steered almost anywhere.

The freedom of movement is a big curve-ball for me as space-station 13 worked on a grid-based movement and collision for players and objects.
I would like for the players to have collision with each other in the future as It may have been annoying to try to get past people in the hallways at times but it was kind of part of the charm of space station 13.
I would also like the grid-based movement as it also was part of the charm of SS13 and it feels odd to have object getting snagged on corners the way they do.

Only the harm and help interaction buttons seem to be implemented and it is weird to only have those two.

The ability to grab, shove, lay down, and resist were all important parts of space station 13.
Many servers had it so if you used the grab interaction on another player twice you could pick them up and carry them to move faster or use the grab interaction on another player three times to start choking them.
The shove interaction allowed you to gain some distance from your attacker by knocking them to the floor or pushing them back a bit.
The lay down interaction allowed you to sometimes crawl under plastic flaps and some other obstacles or sometimes sleep in other servers.
The resist interaction in some servers allowed you to block attacks, break out of handcuffs, and try to resist being force-fed or injected something.
All these interactions varied a bit between servers.

I do like that the harm interaction is a toggled button as it can reduce the number of hot-keys needed in the future by having each interaction toggled instead of having help as a separate hotkey.

There is minor other things, like the chat looks a bit barren without the pop-ups that say who did what.
I always liked when I inspected someone or got slammed in the face with a flying pie it would appear in chat so I could see all the details later if I forgot.
Also weird that the vending machines do not tell you the price of what you are buying.

As a closing statement I think this game Is high in potential with it ease of access and the cool new features it works with.
I just wish it had more of the original games charm / features that are currently missing.
I am sure many of them are in the works and some maybe take longer then other but I wanted to share my thoughts on what we have now,
