What I was banned for is not against the rules
Events leading to the ban
At the start of the round, I was a traitor and ended up getting arrested by the HoS for holding a satchel, which I then ahelped and said that I felt like that wasn’t fair because it had been less than 3 minutes in and I do not believe the HoS could have strip menud me through a door. I then spoke with the banning admin about how I felt that it was unfair for me to have my round almost completely ruined right at the start because a Head of Secuirty somehow knew I had a satchel. The told me I was incorrect, and eventually I moved on. After I served my sentence, I was clowning around the front of sec and was attacked by a cargo tech with a shovel, which almost ended up critting me, so I went down to medical and ended up dying from a superheated room that the banning admin had made by flooding the airflow distribution with plasma, claiming it was an admeme. I ended up ghost roling as Pun Pun, and grabbed the clown gear after finding a honker, and walked over to the bridge, and went inside as two other command members did. The HoS had no problem with my being their, but the HoP attempted to drag me out multiple times, to no avail. I was honking my horn this entire time, attempting to be silly, when they disabler shot me, then tried to push me into disposals multiple times. Eventually I punched them, because they locked my backpack inside of bridge, which I could not get, and was arrested by a secoff, when a person in a nukie suit walked up behind me and started firing at the secoff. I was uncuffed, and grabbed a knife, where I had tried to swing at the nukie but ended up hitting the HoP, where they promptly backed away and then began attacking me with another knife. A borg then helped kill me, and eventually I died. After this, I felt like it was unfair to be round removed yet again over a mistake on hitting someone, so I ahelped and got the same admin, who I feel completely ignored my ahelp and made no attempt at solving the problem. As I was ghosted, they began teleporting people into the disposals chutes, ending up killing them, further ruining the fun for more people in the game. As I was ghosted, I complained with multiple other people who felt like the round was ruined because of this admin. Eventually, when the evac shuttle arrived at CC, they said “And you’re done,” where we got into an argument about how I felt they completely ignored any of my concerns and how they felt “disrespected” about my anger from being round removed twice. They then banned me for the full reason of: “Indef ban for Harrassing staff - Malding in ahelp about admins and rules, rude in ahelp, ooc, and dead chats. If you don’t like how our game is intended to play, there are civil avenues for you to change it. Yelling at admins about the situation being unfair, and then berating them when they give you a reasonable explaination is uncalled for and frankly excessive. Goodbye.” which I feel is completely unprofessional and incorrect in its description. I did not yell at admins, I got into an argument with one. Then saying “If you don’t like how our game is intended to play, there are civil avenues for you to change it,” after killing more than half the station by causing a plasma fire seems extremely shortsighted and rude.
Reason the ban should be removed
I can understand how I may come off as harsh with my tonnage, but after being killed twice, once directly from an admin’s involvement, and another where the admin brushed off my ahelp, I feel that I was understandably angry. I can see how it does not appear in honest hearts that I have gotten two indef bans for the same thing in the span of a week, but I feel that this is an isolated incident where an admin had direct involvement in a round, ending up ruining that round for multiple people, myself aside. I do not feel as if I harassed staff, as I made no attempt to pick up the conversation after our argument with the HoP’s murder. They reinitiated the conversation, claiming I was “shittalking” them, while more people than just me were aggravated at their involvement of the round. I also feel that their unprofessionalism in their ahelp ticket where they said “Borg doesn’t have law 1. L” would reasonably give way to anger, especially when expecting someone, as an admin, to look for and understand the entire situation before making their judgement.
I do apologize for my harsh language, but it seems justified that an admin doing something that would get any other player banned permanently would cause someone to be angry about how unfair that might be.
