Events leading to the ban
I was CE, i radio’d engi to set up AME, and went to set up tesla by myself. i was sitting there silently setting up tesla when i thought to myself “man, i really wish i could tesloose right now.”
and then i became a survivor and there was a gun in my hand, so i decided to tesloose, because i love teslooses as any role, surviving them and helping others survive them is fun to me, and i thought other people would prefer it over waiting ten minutes for evac, nobody else enjoyed it, Retequizzle started an ingame vote on permabanning me or not, and 2/5ths give or take voted yes to permaban me, i was sorryful and regret my actions, i would never do it again.
Reason the ban should be removed
this is my second appeal, and ive different reasons for why i think my ban should be reduced or negated.
Tesloosing was not an abuse of commanding power, nor was it an abuse of any exclusively command/CE tools, nor was it an abuse of authority.
i did not use my engineering remote to bolt the airlocks leading into the containment, i did not tell engineering to tesloose or leave me alone at tesla containment, i was not in any way more or less incapable of tesloosing than an atmos or a station engineer.
if i were a station engineer that round, i wouldve set up tesla with a wrench and RCD and told someone else to set up AME, in no way was tesloosing connected with me being the chief engineer that round, so i would think my command ban be reduced or negated, but my engineering ban be permanent or kept as is, since i think thats appropriate, though i will say again that the reason i tesloosed was because i thought i was a free agent, and ive always seen massive amounts of people killing eachother with event guns and spells before, i always hold the belief that youd blame the game, not the eighty players given guns, if you dont want people killing eachother, why give every single one a gun ranging from water guns to pulse rifles?
