I did what I was banned for, but the ban is unreasonably harsh

Events leading to the ban

I have my Discord set to play the sound that plays when someone gets erased in the ban menu (the cut off scream nosie) via soundboard when I join VC, I joined VC and it played, and I think about 30 minutes later I was banned.

Reason the ban should be removed

I didn’t know it would be an issue especially since you can turn off/down soundboards and I forgot I had it on (I set it globally instead of per-server for some reason). I also wouldn’t care if I was banned from VC or something like that for this, the main reason I’m in ss14 discord is for talking about / searching coding stuff.

You were previously warned for playing loud noises when joining a VC which you ended up doing again at a later date which resulted in the ban.

However, after an internal vote with other moderators, the decision came to remove the ban in hopes that a repeat doesn’t happen.

Please be mindful of others next time.
